Our most recent pastor retired on October 31st, 2018, after 26 years of faithful service to this congregation. As we begin the search process to call a new Pastor to lead us in ministry, we have contracted with The Rev. Dr. H. Richard McClain to serve as our part-time Interim Pastor.
Dr. McClain comes to us with a varied background of experiences ranging from serving our country in the Marine Corps following high school, 5 years in public education, management with PPL Corporation, full-time pastorates spanning 34 years and most recently, working in a number of churches as an Interim Pastor. He brings much expertise and experience in guiding congregations through the preparation and search process, and will be a valuable asset to this congregation in the coming months. Dr. McClain and his wife, Sally, reside in Upper Macungie Township.
Janet originally joined the church in 1981 and came back to the Presbyterian Church in 2013 after a 20 year absence moving around the country with her husband Tim. She now serves as Elder and Chair of the Worship Committee. "Coming back to the Lehigh Valley and my church family was the best thing for me.” Elected to serve as the Clerk of Session in January 2018, she looks forward to the challenge and fulfillment of this new roll.
Mr. Bob has been Director of Music for 44 years at the Presbyterian Church of Catasauqua. He directs an Adult Choir, two Adult Bell Choirs and Bell and Vocal Children groups. Everyone is welcome to join these musical choirs.
If you have any questions for Mr. Bob, feel free to email him.
Jimmy came to this church in 2008, after moving with his family to the local community. He is an ordained Elder, having chaired or served on various committees over the years. He strives to involve our youth in worship participation and is comfortable in sharing his faith from the pulpit as a lay preacher or through his gift of music.
She has served as our Treasurer since early 2014. Yvonne is a lifetime member of this congregation, having been baptized, confirmed and married here. She is also the Presbyterian Women’s contact/coordinator for sponsoring the altar flowers for worship.
Deb joined the church staff in January 2018. She comes to us with many years of administrative and HR experience, and is excited to serve the people of the congregation!
